What is Microneedling?

• Microneedling results are extremely technique-dependent. Inexperienced providers or DIY at-home devices can damage your skin and even leave scars.
• Other potential complications include infection and hyperpigmentation.
• You’ll need a series of multiple treatments (at least three) to get the full benefits, and follow-up sessions are required to maintain them.
• While the treatment can help with mild skin laxity, particularly around the eyes and jawline, it can’t significantly lift and tighten skin.
• Skin will be sensitive to the sun post-treatment, and direct UV exposure should be avoided.
• The treatment can trigger cold sores.
